Today I am introducing to you my first music video .. made ecologically.
A few months ago I went to an event to celebrate the release of Tim Storey's book "Utmost living". He was a powerful speaker, telling us that we need to have a revelation. Well I went home in all my IVA garb feeling inspired and had a revelation that is was time to make a video...
(I've been wanting to do so for years!)
I grabbed my MacBook Pro and remembered it had a built-in camera. So I set that up and using the MacBook battery I shot the video of me messing around in my apartment. All my clothes are thanks to Ekovaruhuset as well as my makeup thanks to NVEY and Moonsun Organic. I've even introduced a new adornment to the IVA family ... "Native Nation" a necklace created by the Temple of Spirited Living and myself.
Temple of Spirited Living and I met about a year ago and were immediately inspired by each other. They have been making beautifully unique necklaces that have gathered affection both within Sweden and in neighboring countries. We decided to create a necklace together and called it "Native Nation", inspired by our common goal to create beauty in harmony with the environment.
We were most focused on the process of making the necklace. We want to make things that are beautiful and that the world can afford. The necklace is made of fossil jasper, organic cotton, and one feather to keep your spirit on the wind. I've been wearing my IVA necklace to events, shows, and every day for a while now and have watched people's eyes light up as they ask me about it. It's as if they can feel the way in which the necklace was made.
So I urge you to make your own creative marks out there. All you need is the spark, and it's always there for you.
